BUT the PTO Clothing Swap is still on! Join us tomorrow from 9–12 in Pecore Hall. Stay dry, and thank you for your continued support!

Refresh & Reuse: PTO Clothing Swap 👕

Spring clean your closets and refresh your child’s wardrobe at the PTO Clothing Swap! Bring gently used children’s clothing and shoes your family has outgrown to Pecore Hall during the Campus Beautification Event.

Sort your donations by size on the labeled tables, then feel free to browse and take home anything that fits your needs. It’s a great way to recycle, share, and connect with our school community.

All leftover items will be donated to a local charity. Let’s swap and support together!

As part of the Discovery Program, students will engage in hands-on educational experiences that bring classroom learning to life. From exploring nature to diving into real-world science and history, this immersive program fosters a deeper understanding of environmental respect, human relationships, and our place in the world. It’s always a highlight of the year—and a meaningful step in their journey as lifelong learners!

The Outdoor School Experience

Young Authors Take the Spotlight

Join us for a beloved St. Stephen’s tradition — Author’s Night — on Tuesday, April 29 at 6:00 PM! Families of students in 1st–8th grade are invited to gather in their children’s classrooms to hear students read aloud the original stories they’ve been working on throughout the year.

Each child will receive a printed book filled with their class’s stories to take home and treasure. It’s a beautiful celebration of student voice, creativity, and hard work.

Celebrating Ramadan at SSESH

Thank you to Samina (Nadia’s mom) for visiting our class and sharing about Ramadan! We loved learning about this special time of reflection, prayer, generosity, and community observed by Muslims around the world.

At St. Stephen’s, we treasure the opportunity to celebrate and learn from the many cultures, traditions, and holidays that make our community so rich and vibrant. Thank you for helping us grow in understanding and appreciation!

Strengthening the Bridge Between Levels

Six of our lead teachers recently participated in a professional development session focused on bridging Montessori math and language lessons between Primary and Lower Elementary. They explored key lessons taught at both levels, gaining insight into how these lessons support different developmental aims while ensuring a seamless transition for students. The training also highlighted overarching Montessori themes that extend across all levels, enhancing continuity of learning and accessibility of new content. This collaboration will help strengthen our students’ foundation as they move from Primary to Lower Elementary.

Bulldog Compliments

At St. Stephen’s, we have an easy way for anyone in the St. Stephen’s community to show their appreciation for a faculty, staff, or leadership team member. We call it sending a “Bulldog Compliment.”

Here is how it works. Click the Send A Bulldog Compliment image and follow the prompts. It only takes a few clicks, and you are done.

All compliments are anonymous and will be sent to the person (or persons) you choose to recognize. There is no limit to how many you can send, so be as generous as you wish!
