We Are Wonderfully Made
In preparation for their graduation from St. Stephen’s, Rev. Ashley asked this year’s graduates a set of questions to help them reflect upon what they learned at St. Stephen’s and how they might build upon this knowledge.
We are wonderfully made. What’s one thing you learned about YOU?
- Baxter: “One thing I learned about myself is that I thrive in a small, relaxed environment.”
- Celeste: “One thing I learned about myself is that I can learn and adapt from past mistakes and push through to learn and adapt from them.”
- Jonas: “One thing I learned about me is how intrigued I am with flying objects.”
We practice wonder. What’s one thing you learned about God?
- Baxter: “One thing I learned about God is that he has a path for me, and I am doing my best to follow that path.”
- Celeste: “One thing I learned about God is that his stories are interesting.”
- Jonas: “One thing I learned about God is how not everything has to be super intense in religion.”
We are made for connection. What’s one thing you learned about community?
- Baxter: “One thing I learned about community is that you can find friends anywhere, no matter how small the community is.”
- Celeste: “One thing I learned about community is that it is hard to work with others but the result is worth it.”
- Jonas: “One thing I learned about community is how people can change when you know them very well.”
Every beginning has an ending. What’s one thing you are leaving behind?
- Baxter: “One thing I’m leaving behind is the legacy that I have made throughout St. Stephen’s.”
- Celeste: “One thing I’m leaving behind are the friendships I’ve made in my time here.”
- Jonas: “One thing I’m leaving behind is the community I met along the way.”
Every ending has a beginning. What’s one thing you are taking with you?
- Baxter: “One thing I’m taking with me is the amazing memories, lessons, and experiences I have made in order to better myself in the future through these principles.”
- Celeste: “One thing I’m taking with me is the ability to keep up with work and not fall behind.”
- Jonas: “One thing I’m taking with me is the experience with a small school and how it has brought students close.”
Baxter will attend St. Francis Episcopal School.
Celeste will attend St. Francis Episcopal School.
Jonas will attend St. Pius X High School.

Bulldog Compliments
At St. Stephen’s, we have an easy way for anyone in the St. Stephen’s community to show their appreciation for a faculty, staff, or leadership team member. We call it sending a “Bulldog Compliment.”
Here is how it works. Click the Send A Bulldog Compliment image and follow the prompts. It only takes a few clicks, and you are done.
All compliments are anonymous and will be sent to the person (or persons) you choose to recognize. There is no limit to how many you can send, so be as generous as you wish!
