The Bulldog Days of Summer: Summer at SSESH
St. Stephen’s Summer Camps offer a warm, engaging summer experience for students from 15 months through rising 6th grade. Rooted in Montessori principles, our camps encourage curiosity, independence, and joyful discovery—while still feeling like summer. Each day includes hands-on activities, creative projects, games, outdoor play, and time with friends, blending meaningful learning with relaxed summer fun.
Enrollment is limited to current and newly accepted SSESH students, as well as siblings of students and alumni (Primary and Elementary camps).
Orientation Summer Camp
15 months-2 years old
Orientation Summer Camp offers current toddler students the opportunity to remain engaged in the familiar, nurturing Montessori environment during the summer. With a focus on skill- building, children continue their journey of exploration and discovery while enjoying meaningful connections with peers and teachers, along with plenty of outdoor play and creative learning.
This camp is designed for rising First- and Second-Year Orientation students who are currently enrolled or will be enrolled in August 2026. Children must be 15 months old by June 1st to participate.
Registration begins January 20, 2026. Limited spots are available, so be sure to enroll early!

Primary Summer Camp
3 years – Rising Kindergarteners
Primary Summer Camp invites rising 1st-year, 2nd-year, and Kindergarten Primary students to choose from three exciting and engaging camp themes. Students may stick with the same theme all summer long or switch it up week by week. With options spanning early literacy and storytelling, arts and crafts, movement and music, and hands-on science exploration, there’s something to spark every child’s curiosity.
Alumni and siblings of currently enrolled students are welcome. Children must be 3 years old by June 1st to participate.

Elementary Summer Camp
Rising 1st – Rising 6th Graders
Elementary Summer Camp invites rising 1st–6th graders to play, learn, and create in a joyful and familiar environment. Mornings resemble a shortened Montessori work period, giving students focused time to strengthen ELA and Mathematics skills through engaging, teacher-guided lessons that build confidence and keep them sharp. In the afternoons, campers dive into hands-on art and makerspace projects that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and imagination. Outdoor exploration and unstructured play are woven throughout the day, giving children time to move, connect, and enjoy summer.
