Monty Meals Are Back!

Our beloved Friday pizza fundraiser returns this school year, bringing happy kids, happy parents, and support for our campus all at once! Every Monty Meals purchase helps fund improvements to SSESH’s outdoor spaces, and last year’s proceeds contributed to many of the exciting updates families will see when they return to campus. Enjoy a Friday without packing lunch, treat your child to pizza, and help us see what we can accomplish together this year!

To ensure we have enough time to prepare each week’s orders, the ordering window will close before each Monty Meals date. During August, as everyone settles back into the swing of things, we will reopen the order form each week. Beginning in September, families will place Monty Meals orders for the entire month, and the form will open in advance for the following month.

The order form is now live. You may order for the full year or simply try it out. To order a Monty Meal for the first Friday of the school year, please submit your order by Thursday, August 13, at 9:00 AM.

Upcoming Events

Meet and Greet Conference invitation letter

Join us today to reconnect with your child’s teacher or meet them for the first time. These conferences are a valuable opportunity for students, families, and teachers to come together before the school year begins and set the stage for a successful year ahead.

Families in Primary through Middle Years should also remember to complete their Student Goal Forms. We look forward to seeing you there!

On Saturday, August 8th, from 9:00 – 12:00, Middle Years parents are highly encouraged to attend this unique, hands-on experience that offers a glimpse into a typical day in the life of a Middle Years student. Parents will rotate through activities, practice organizational strategies, collaborate with fellow parents, and gain insight into the culture, expectations, and increased independence that define the Middle Years program. This event is for parents only.

Join us for the Back-to-School Rally on Sunday, August 9, in Pecore Hall! Reconnect with friends, welcome new families, visit classrooms, meet teachers and staff, learn about the Parent Teacher Organization, hear from school leadership, and celebrate the year ahead. Orientation and Primary families will attend from 2:00–3:30 p.m., and Elementary and Middle Years families will attend from 3:00–4:30 p.m.

On Monday, August 10th, at 11 am, join us on the playground for popsicles, playtime, and connection! This informal gathering is a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun together while parents meet other families and begin building connections within the SSESH community. We hope you’ll join us for this sweet start to the school year!

Our first full day of school for all students is Tuesday, August 11! Morning Care and Aftercare also begin that day. Please be sure your child’s backpack, lunchbox, water bottle, and any other belongings are clearly labeled with their name. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus at 8:00 am and begin a joyful new school year together!

On Wednesday, August 19th, at 8:30 am, join us in the Nave for our first All-School Chapel of the year! This special Welcome Back Chapel, traditionally called Convocation in the Episcopal Church, brings our community together to celebrate the beginning of a new school year.

Join us on Sunday, August 30, from 6:00–8:00 PM for an adults-only fiesta celebrating the launch of SSESH Forward!, our Annual Fund. Bulldog Compliments

At St. Stephen’s, we have an easy way for anyone in the St. Stephen’s community to show their appreciation for a faculty, staff, or leadership team member. We call it sending a “Bulldog Compliment.”

Here is how it works. Click the Send A Bulldog Compliment image and follow the prompts. It only takes a few clicks, and you are done.

All compliments are anonymous and will be sent to the person (or persons) you choose to recognize. There is no limit to how many you can send, so be as generous as you wish!
