Current families who complete the 2027-28 Enrollment Agreement and pay the required deposit ($1,800) during the Priority Re-Enrollment Period (Feb. 1 – 14) will enjoy a $300 discount on tuition.
Families with more than one student at St. Stephen’s enjoy a $700 discount for up to two siblings. For example, enroll a second child and receive a discount in the total amount of $700; enroll a third child and receive a discount in the total amount of $1,400.
Please note that the enrollment agreement must be completed and the non-refundable deposit of $1,800 must be received in order to secure your child’s seat for the following year. This deposit will be applied to your tuition balance for the coming school year.
In use at over 1,200 leading independent schools and colleges, the Tuition Refund Plan refunds a portion of the net annual tuition when the student is withdrawn or dismissed for covered reasons. All families electing to pay tuition in installments are required to purchase the Tuition Refund Plan at the rate of 1.6% of outstanding tuition and fees for the 2025-26 academic year, as reduced by the enrollment deposit, discounts, tuition remission, financial aid, and other reductions. Learn more about the Tuition Refund Plan here.
Apply for Financial Aid for 2027-2028
At St. Stephen’s, we seek to be accessible for as many families as possible who value our learning opportunities for their children. We understand that affording a highly impactful learning experience often requires sacrifice. Financial Aid is the tool we use to make our community accessible. Financial Aid is budgeted annually and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board.
There are more applications for assistance than funds available; therefore, we use the following practices to distribute aid responsibly:
Award decisions are made by St. Stephen’s through a confidential screening process.
Please contact the Office of Enrollment Management — admission@ssesh.org — with any questions concerning aid or payment plans. We are eager to help you through every step of the application and aid process.
At this time, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School is not participating in the TEFA program. We understand the importance of accessible education and are committed to making our program available to those who qualify for assistance through our Financial Aid Program.
